Parousia is not a conference or seminar….it is a school. A school of the Spirit where you will learn by precept and example how to function as the spiritual person you were created to be and develop an intimate walk with the Person of the Holy Spirit.

The spirit of man has its origin in the Spirit of God. The spirit of man and the Spirit of God are therefore of the same substance; so the human spirit is a creation intentionally made to enjoy the highest communion with the divine Spirit and function as He does.

Since the fall, it was only after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, that God’s ultimate desire to tabernacle not in tents or in buildings but in the human spirit could be fulfilled. Jesus spoke of the day when ‘…He [The Father] will give you another Comforter who will abide with you forever, even the Spirit of Truth…I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you.’

This is that day. The Spirit of God has come. The type of relationship the christian can have with the Holy Spirit is the same kind of relationship the disciples had with Jesus…only closer because He now lives in us.

Parousia is the greek word for ‘Presence’ and it is used typically to signify the Day of the Lord at His Second coming when we will see Him face to face. However, before that day He has not left us orphans but has come to us in the person of His divine Spirit. This is the day of His Presence. This is the beginning of that Day of the Lord.

At Parousia, walk step by step with us as we penetrate the veil of the flesh and enter via the spirit of revelation, into the reality of the walk prepared for the redeemed.

The picture we see of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of Jesus and the Apostles is a snapshot of the type of relationship each believer can enjoy with the Spirit.

The winds of the Spirit have been blowing since Pentecost; and few, here and there, have laid hold of the fringes of the kind of walk that is possible between God and man. But the blood of Jesus was shed that all his people would walk in a depth of intimacy and through this intimacy, reign and rule as a king in the earth to the glory of the Father. Parousia is all about showing you how.
